Islamic Rule
In the 7th century, Palestine was conquered by the Muslim Arabs. Islam quickly became the dominant religion in the region, and Arabic became the dominant language. Palestine was ruled by a succession of Muslim dynasties, including the Umayyads, Abbasids, Fatimids, Ayyubids, and Mamluks

British Mandate

State of Israel and the Palestinian Territories:

The United Nations has warned of a potential famine in Gaza if the fighting continues and has called for an immediate ceasefire and increased aid.
The United States, as Israel’s main ally, has urged Israel to scale back its offensive and seek a diplomatic solution. However, it has also faced criticism for blocking a UN Security Council resolution that would have demanded an immediate ceasefire.
